conservancy History

  1. 2003 - Conservancy was formed out of a convergence of interests between the Polish Center and Wheaton's Reiman Cancer Center.
  2. 2005 - Conservancy purchased 36 acres of land including Kopmeier Lake and nearly all the surrounding woodlands and wetlands.
  3. 2005-2014 Work was done involving the City of Franklin, the DNR, Architects,and fundraising.
  4. 2014 -The Conservancy broke ground on the Reiman Chapel. The Chapel is located near the Reiman Cancer Center and Future Healing Gardens.
